The Geodirectory plugin is developed as per the WordPress coding standards. so I will say, that you will not face any major issues with any of the themes unless that theme is developed as per the same coding standards.
Geodirectory mostly supports all major themes, like Divi, Genensis, Kadencewp, Listimia, and Kleo.

Free to use
Business Directory Plugin is a freemium plugin, it has a Free version on the WordPress plugin directory. It covers all the common features required for a Directory site and has plenty of add-ons to extend the functionality.
Rate and Review
The Business Directory plugin has around 407 reviews and a 4.6 rating with 10000+ active installation
Addons
This plugin provides you modules or you can call them addon but you will be able to use them only if you have a paid version of the plugin.

Page Builder support
This plugin has support for Elementor but no compatibility noted for other page builders although the plugin team mentioned they are working on it.

I haven’t used this plugin support yet but it seems in the Plugin review it used to be very good but it is disappointing now.

The Directorist is also one of my favorite plugins.

it is a freemium plugin that has a Free version in the WordPress plugin directory.
It covers all the common features required for a Directory site.

The Directorist plugin has around 322 reviews and a 4.7 rating with 10000+ active installation

Business plans start from $51/3 months to $99/yearly and lifetime plan starts at $549/one-time payment.
Page Builder support
It supports Elementor page builder but there is no official integration between Directorist and Divi Builder at the moment.
Theme support
The Directorist plugin supports all popular themes it also has many options for paid plans. it can be seen here.
Customer support
The plugin has a dedicated team of customer support but I noticed response time is slow for a few tickets.
4. HivePress
HivePress is also a freemium plugin that has a Free version in the WordPress plugin directory.
It covers all the common features required for a Directory site.
5. ListingPro
ListingPro is also a Premium plugin that can be downloaded from the theme forest. It covers all the common features required for a Directory site.
